Facebook Makes Distance Nothing

Nowadays people prefer to share their feeling in virtual world than write down in their own notes. It makes social network being popular and useful. Facebook is one of social networks which provides some creative features. It shows what the member’s opinion and other members can give comment on it. Some people say that Facebook is not effective for people, especially for students. Different to it, in my opinion, the advantages of Facebook are far outweighs the disadvantages. The advantages can be divided into three important things.

We can keep in touch with our friends only by accessing Facebook. Facebook allows the user to have many friends on it. But now, it is restricted into 4500 friends for the most. Remember that the user are commonly adolescence and older, this network help us to connect with all friends from different phase. An adult, for about 20 years old, at least has four different stages and various friends. Surely we should not meet them physically, in their office or their house, if we missed or needed them. Sometimes we got busy with our job and can’t meet them. It often makes them angry. But Facebook helps us to meet them by words and describe everything by images.

       

         Another application in Facebook is group discussion. It is created for gathering people who have the same interest, hobbies, and academics. It makes the group member easily to share their opinion, pictures, and links which are related to their topic discussions. In academic area, this feature is also useful for having class discussion in virtual world. Sometimes students are not brave to share their opinion during the class, but they are active in Facebook. By using this application, user can get more knowledge which they cannot get in school. Moreover, we can create the group and decorate it as our want. We are free for sharing many things in this area, once we debating others opinion. It is interesting to do.

        

        The first page at Facebook’s home, there is a question, “What’s in your mind?”. That question evokes our feeling to share with others. Sometimes students are updating statement about their assignment because they need help to do it. But it is not for businessperson. Businessman use it for advertise their products. Another case with people who love photography. They can upload photos and discuss it. Sometimes critics about the weakness of photos are needed to make the better works. Therefore, we can share our feelings and get a huge of information freely from Facebook.

              
         As a popular social network, the advantages of Facebook indirectly drive it into multifunctional “book” for people. Keep in touch with friends, add and discuss materials in group discussion, and share our feeling freely help our life better. Thus, Facebook makes the world smaller and easier to reach.
